Management Team

Samuel Kaniu is the Chief Executive Officer of S.N Kaniu and Company. He is a holder of Masters in Business Administration Degree (University of Nairobi) and also holds CPA (K), Certified Fraud Examiner and Membership at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He has previously worked  various roles as a senior manager and/or as a partner in some of the big firms including: Parker Randall Eastern Africa, Deloitte and Touché, and PKF Kenya Samuel has over 10 years of professional experience in related aspects of financial and management consulting covering various industry sectors in a diversity of African countries.

He currently specializes in the provision of audit and tax advisory services and has been the team leader on various assignments in Kenya,  Tanzania,  Rwanda,  Burundi,  Somalia,  Somaliland, Southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.

Samuel is currently the partner in charge of the audits of the construction and hospitality sector portfolio and is handling various clients including: Amboseli Institute of Hospitality and Management, Rio Breeze Gardens, Coolbreeze Engineering, Kingstar Investment among others. 

David Ndungu is a Director at S.N Kaniu & Company. David IS a holder of Masters in Business Administration Degree (Kenyatta University) and also holds CPA (K) licence. David previously worked as the Consulting Director at Tripple K Consulting Ltd. David has a wealth of experience in financial accounting and internal audit and has worked both in Kenya and regionally. He has occupied senior finance positions with different institutions among them Jamii Bora Bank, Lukenya Hotels, World Concern among others.

David has been instrumental in building the outsourced services department at S.N Kaniu & Co. He is the partner in charge of outsourced accounting services. He also assist in tax advisory portfolio and other business advisory engagements.
